Nexcare Brand and America’s Blood Centers are partnering for the second annual “give” program – a nationwide blood donation initiative kicking off on World Blood Donor Day, June 14th and extending through June 20th.
The “give” program works to raise awareness about blood donation through an interactive website and free inspirational bandages marked with the word give, to serve as badges of honor.
World Blood Donor Day arrives as U.S. blood centers face summer shortages, due to more travel and less donations. This year, since June 14th is also Flag Day, the bandages are inspired by patriotic spirit and symbolize the hero in each American who saves lives by giving blood.
