Have you ever been to a cafe that feels like home? …Or at least the home you’d design if you could afford it? Joan’s on Third (8350 West 3rd St, LA) is that place for me. I want to replicate the entire place and turn it into my very own kitchen. And I don’t even cook. Go figure.

For now, I settle for taking pictures (which is probably frowned upon), chatting up their friendly staff, and enjoying the fact that they’ve yet to start posting the calories next to each menu item.
