To be honest, 75% of the reason I watch any award show is for the red carpet arrivals. With the exception of a few candid jokes and inappropriate commentary, the red carpet is really the best part of the show. And the fashion & beauty of the 2012 Golden Globe Awards did not disappoint!
Some of the evening’s most gorgeous looks included: Piper Perabo in Olivier Theyskens for Theory, Dianna Agron in Giles Deacon, Kate Beckinsale in Roberto Cavalli, Shailene Woodley in Marchesa, Zooey Deschanel in Prada, Rooney Mara in Nina Ricci, Elle Macpherson in Zac Posen, Sarah Hyland in vintage Dolce & Gabbana, and Amanda Peet in Marc Jacobs.
Beauty trends: high pony tails, red lips, dark smoky glam eyes.

Wow – I missed Piper Perabo, so pretty! Come a long way from Coyote Ugly. Good for her.
Yeah the back of Piper’s dress was even better – with a cutout on her lower back. It was pretty sheer, too. She took a risk but she pulled it off well.
