Holiday Gift Guide | No. 1

Instead of one lengthy guide of gift suggestions this year, I’ll be posting a few shorter lists over the next two weeks. If you’re stuck and want specific ideas, feel free to comment below or email me.

I’ve gotten a few inquiries about buying gifts for the woman who has fun, feminine style – but doesn’t necessarily need more beauty products. I can’t totally relate to the notion of too many products… but okay, I’m game.

From a stocking stuffer to spa certificate, here are a few ideas to get the girl who basically needs nothing.

Jennifer Adams HOME

For the woman who appreciates style and always seems to look effortlessly chic – pick up a Jennifer Adams throw. You might be familiar with Jennifer’s bedding collections, but check out

her new lifestyle site! Each throw is handmade with the most gorgeous natural fabrics. Timeless linen, cotton, silk threads, accent tassels, etc. She’ll keep it forever. Shop Jenniferadams.com.

The Hollywood Silk Solution

Silk pillowcases are more than just smooth and cool on your face. They can extend the life of your blowout, reduce hair breakage and those fine facial lines you can develop overnight. These come in 3 colors and are made from the highest grade (6A) pure mulberry silk. Single cases are sold in cute, small boxes – easy to pop in a stocking, or the mail. Shop thehollywoodsilksolution.com.

I love throwing these bags in my travel tote or gym bag. Put anything you want to keep separate in one of these eco-friendly, water-resistant bags. Made right here in So Cal, they’re available in 4 sizes that fit a phone and some keys, all the way up to a wet suit and towel.

My favorite print is the Starfish in Whitsunday Sand, but check out all the Wander Wet Bag options at wanderwetbags.com.

Honestly, what woman doesn’t love cookie dough? Personally, I prefer it to the actual cookie. Now you can have edible (no eggs) cookie dough sent anywhere. There are even vegan & gluten-free options. Best. Gift. Ever! Create a fun variety pack of your own, or go with their popular edoughble suggestions. My favorite: Milk n’ Cookies. I haven’t tried S’more Please yet but I’ve got a good feeling about it. Shop edoughble.com

I’ve driven by this spa in Sherman Oaks for years, and not stopped in until recently. I now get why they were voted Best Medical Spa of the Year by American Spa Magazine. A gift card to Blue Medi Spa is a fool-proof idea for anyone in LA – including men. Check out their site for facials, injectables, laser hair removal, and more. The Perfect Derma Peel is really popular… but gift with caution. No one wants to be insulted by a present. Amiright!?

I can never spend enough time in a park. Walking, camping, hiking, anything! We are so lucky to have access to so many gorgeous national parks. Help support their upkeep by donating to the National Park Foundation – the official charity for the National Park Service.

There are a few ways you can buy gifts and support America’s parks at the same time…

  • Donate in honor or memory: Donate to national parks in someone’s name to celebrate their memory or mark a special occasion
  • Park gear: Pick up one of these gifts to support NPF’s important work
  • Volunteer: Invite someone to get their hands dirty with you… Help out a park or program together!

Stay tuned for Gift Guide No. 2!
