There’s a new rose in town! And as of now, this one’s going down among the best anyone has ever showed up at my door unexpectedly carrying. Seriously. And I really love me a Sterling Rose.
Though wrapped in paper, there were no ribbons tied around this rose. This delivery came packaged in a pint-sized container with a plastic spoon. REAL ice cream?
Effing AMAZING! Handmade Salted Caramel ice cream from the Sweet Rose Creamery in Brentwood. I knew the shop was opening, but still hadn’t made the time to try it out. Now, here it was at my door. Sweet and salty in one bite. Like chocolate covered pretzels, only better!
It’s so worth the indulgence that I had no desire to know the nutritional breakdown. I can definitely get on board with this type of rose gesture. Much more fun to share and much less sad to toss afterward. The downside: I have a feeling my usual satisfaction from Cantaloop or Pinkberry is never going to be the same.
Game 1 of the NBA Finals, on the couch with spoonfuls of sweet deliciousness and not-too-shabby company: Absolute heaven.

What other flavors do they have?
They change regularly but I hear there’s a Peach Buttermilk ice cream and fresh Plum sorbet right now. I’m betting they don’t suck.
