Mother’s Day is this weekend. Got a plan? Got a gift? I’m halfway there.
If you’re in Los Angeles and planning on running over to The Grove for an easy Anthropologie find… Don’t. It’s not there anymore. Big bummer.
Rumors have Sephora moving into the bigger space, but I’m not sure if that’s accurate. They sure could use more floor space though.
What you can find at The Grove now (and through May) is a gorgeous Diptyque Pop-Up shop, right outside Nordstrom and Crate & Barrel. It’s kind of a sensorial ode to the brand’s iconic fragrance collection… but I went to visit my candle obsession: Feu de Bois. It was love at first whiff years ago. The wafting scent fills a fireplace void in my little apartment.
The pop-up coincides with Diptyque’s latest launch—their first genderless eau de parfum. Called Eau de Minthé, it’s their interpretation of fougère (fern)—with notes of mint, patchouli, and geranium.
For myself, I found it too masculine. That said, it smelled amazing on the man next to me. Stop by for Mom or yourself and try all the distinctive scents from this exquisite Parisian fragrance house.
NOTE: Father’s Day in next month for those who plan ahead…
