72 HOURS TO SAVE THE WHALES

In a few days, the International Whaling Commission will gather in Agadir, Morocco to vote on a proposal that would legalize commercial whale hunting for the first time since 1986.

The global public is against this proposal, but pro-whaling countries are pushing for it hard.

If you want to help fight legalized whaling, please make sure your voice is heard.

LAKERS WIN!

Los Angeles Lakers Derek Fisher and MVP Kobe Bryant

Like a perfect Hollywood script, the Los Angeles Lakers fought to pull it out in the fourth tonight. Our LAKERS are the NBA Champions once again! And by default, we are champions, too.

We are the fans. We don’t even make contact with the ball and yet somehow we feel we’ve got some influence over the game. Their wins are ours to celebrate; their losses are ours to mourn.

For the Love of our Lakers…

Just a quick plea from one avid fan, to the Lakers and the vast space that is this Internet…

Please Lakers, please… go out there and KILL IT TONIGHT. Play like the championship team you are. Play like the champions L.A. needs you to be.

City of Gloss Angeles is Born!

This blog is hereby born from a genuine love of Los Angeles – the freedom of her style, the spirit of her canyons and the promise of her residing influencers. Living in this City of Angels, we often dine next to the affluent, famous, overexposed and overeager – but we also walk amongst the unsung volunteers, organic farmers, heroic teachers and healers.

The truth is most characters depicted in tabloids and reality shows are usually just that: characters. Whereas the glam of entertainment is a huge part of our city’s culture (yes it exists!), it is only a morsel of who we are.  In fact, though I don’t have any stats to prove it, I’d bet good money that the majority of stereotypical-Hollywood are transplants.  Continue reading “City of Gloss Angeles is Born!”
